Mets Sign Dice K

The Mets have agreed to a deal with starting pitcher Daisuke Matsuzaka, sources have told WFAN/CBSSports.com baseball insider Jon Heyman.

According to Heyman, Matsuzaka is expected to be on the major-league roster.

I am guessing this is just a way to limit some innings, fill the void left by Hefner and Mejia while possibly even trying to increase ticket sales even though at this point I am not sure anyone cares.
